How are assessments graded?

Professionals will receive an achievement grade at the end of each individual module assessment; with the overall programme grade being calculated upon completion of all modules. This overall grade will appear on the certificates of achievement or competency.

Training course assessments are graded using the Open University grading scale:

  • 85% and over receive a First Class Honour
  • 70-84% receive a Second Class Upper
  • 55-69% receive a Second Class Lower
  • 40-54% receive a Third Class
